About the Role
The individual in this role supports the efficient functioning of facility operations by coordinating maintenance activities, responding to service requests, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards across assigned sites.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate routine and emergency maintenance tasks for building systems
- Serve as primary contact for tenant service requests and issue resolution
- Schedule and supervise vendor performance for cleaning, security, and technical services
- Maintain accurate logs of work orders and service activities
- Inspect facilities regularly to ensure compliance with safety codes
- Assist in implementing energy management and sustainability initiatives
- Support emergency preparedness and response protocols
- Track inventory of facility supplies and equipment
- Communicate operational updates to stakeholders and management
- Ensure adherence to contractual service level agreements
- Manage access control systems and key distribution
- Coordinate move-in and move-out activities for tenants
- Oversee common area upkeep and appearance standards
- Assist with budget tracking for facility-related expenses
- Prepare reports on facility performance metrics and incidents
Nice to Have
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in facilities management or related field
- Certifications such as CFM or FMP are a plus
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Knowledge of LEED or sustainability practices
- Prior experience in commercial real estate operations
