Responsibilities
- Gather, evaluate, and interpret records such as medical reports, financial statements, tax documents, and employment histories
- Develop thorough timelines of medical events and case-related facts
- Assemble trial materials including exhibit binders, witness files, and case notebooks
- Collect and organize evidence from discovery materials, transcripts, records, and research databases
- Maintain and structure both digital and paper-based case files
- Liaise with clients, courts, opposing attorneys, and support personnel
- Produce case status updates, tracking logs, and indexed records
- Exchange correspondence with clients and external legal representatives
- Perform research in legal and medical fields, including analysis of expert reports and credentials
- Interact with expert witnesses and assess their background, prior statements, deposition transcripts, and published works
- Carry out other assigned tasks as required
