Responsibilities
- Lead and assist in executing multiple sustainability projects for external clients.
- Verify and assure sustainability metrics, including environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data, aligned with frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and CDP.
- Conduct third-party validation of greenhouse gas emissions across Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and other recognized standards.
- Design and implement inventory management plans for greenhouse gases and other ESG-related indicators.
- Build comprehensive sustainability inventories, including greenhouse gas, water, and waste data, for public and stakeholder disclosure.
- Assist technical leadership in tracking and sharing updates on regulatory shifts and market developments with clients and internal teams.
- Help organizations define sustainability goals, performance targets, and key performance indicators.
- Support assessments of climate-related risks and opportunities through quantitative policy evaluation.
- Contribute to science-based target setting and perform climate scenario modeling using quantitative methods.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with project teams operating in a virtual work environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional client teams on various ESG topics and datasets within a single project framework.
- Assist in managing project data to support record retention, internal audits, and quality assurance processes.
- Pursue and maintain relevant professional credentials as the sustainability field evolves to align with client and organizational needs.
