Emerson is offering an Embedded Software Engineering Co-Op position at our Eden Prairie, MN location. This is a full-time, 40 hours per week co-op scheduled to begin in June 2026 and conclude in December 2026. It’s an opportunity to apply your classroom knowledge to impactful engineering projects.
What You'll Do
- Develop software targeting custom-designed hardware.
- Create test utilities for hardware interfaces.
- Troubleshoot and resolve firmware issues.
- Work with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Discover and explore new interests in your field prior to graduation.
- Apply learned technical skills from the classroom to real-world engineering projects.
What We're Looking For
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related engineering field.
- Knowledge of C/C++ and object-oriented concepts.
- Zero (0) years of related experience required.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) in-person at the Eden Prairie, MN location.
