Responsibilities
- Developing the work schedule and managing the scheduling process
- Coordinating preventative maintenance (PM) labor and material needs, and coordinating corrective repairs
- Researching equipment in the field, determining industry standards, and coordinating maintenance projects such as relay installation, meter installation, and breaker rebuilds
- Oversee the substation master data sheet, including substation age and breaker rebuild cycles, and provides EAMS support, including installing new equipment and developing task plans
- Organize work to support capital projects, providing SME support, and attending capital project meetings
- Manage 8-10 substation shutdowns per year, determining what will be de-energized, developing temporary power plans, coordinating vendor support, and overseeing shutdown work
- Ensure maintenance work orders (WO) have the appropriate level of detail, with proper forms filled out and attached, root causes corrected, and follow-ups on issues that couldn't be immediately corrected at the time the WO was completed
- Complete tasks on the MV Engineering Task List, such as job aids and manhole assessment reviews
- Write switching procedures
