As an Electrical Panel Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and managing control cubicle drawings for standard and specialized power transformers. Your work will ensure designs align with customer specifications, international regulations, and internal manufacturing capabilities. You will produce technical documentation, including schematics, bills of materials, and engineering calculations, to support procurement, testing, and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain control cubicle design drawings using engineering software such as EPLAN or AutoCAD
- Ensure wiring and component layouts comply with national and international standards
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to refine designs based on feedback
- Support the full order lifecycle, from initial request to delivery for internal users
- Participate in engineering and production reviews to improve design accuracy and product reliability
- Respond to technical inquiries and customer concerns in coordination with lead engineers
- Review non-conformance reports and implement corrective or preventive actions
- Adhere to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies and contribute to risk mitigation efforts
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering is required. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in an engineering design role and strong proficiency in English. Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as MODBUS, DNP3, and IEC 61850, as well as experience with PLC systems, is highly beneficial.
Experience with design tools like EPLAN or AutoCAD is preferred. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work under deadlines in a structured environment. A collaborative mindset and clear communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Work Environment
This is an onsite position based at the Gebze facility, requiring a minimum of four days per week on location. Candidates must be able to work in Istanbul or Kocaeli. The culture emphasizes quality, ownership, continuous improvement, and open communication across teams.
