We're looking for skilled Electrical Engineers who combine professional engineering experience with strong Python programming abilities to support AI model evaluation. This freelance role centers on creating technically accurate problems rooted in real-world electrical engineering practice and systematically reviewing AI-generated responses.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop multi-step electrical engineering challenges that reflect industry practices
- Assess AI-produced solutions for technical correctness, logical consistency, and adherence to constraints
- Use Python with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy to verify calculations and simulations
- Refine AI reasoning patterns to better follow standard engineering decision-making
- Apply defined scoring frameworks to evaluate complex, step-by-step problem-solving
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline such as Electronics, Microelectronics, Embedded Systems, or Power Systems. A minimum of three years of hands-on engineering experience is required, along with advanced written English proficiency (C1/C2 level). Strong Python skills are essential for numerical validation tasks. A reliable internet connection is mandatory.
Preference will be given to applicants with recognized professional certifications such as PE, CEng, EUR ING, or RPEQ, as well as those with experience in international or applied engineering projects.
Work & Compensation
This is a project-based freelance position with no guaranteed ongoing hours. Active phases may require 10–20 hours per week, offering flexibility for part-time engagement. Projects vary in scope and complexity, and compensation adjusts accordingly, averaging around $55 per hour. Work is conducted remotely with a global team setup.
