About the Role
The role involves developing, customizing, and maintaining Drupal-based websites and applications while ensuring performance, scalability, and security through clean code practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement custom Drupal modules to extend functionality
- Develop and maintain PHP-based web applications using modern practices
- Collaborate with team members on architecture and technical planning
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing Drupal installations
- Optimize applications for performance, security, and usability
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Integrate third-party services and APIs into Drupal platforms
- Ensure compatibility across browsers and devices
- Follow software development best practices including testing and version control
- Support site launches and manage deployment processes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Drupal core and contributed modules
- Assist in estimating effort for new features and projects
- Work with designers and stakeholders to implement user requirements
- Contribute to documentation for code and system processes
- Monitor and improve application security measures
- Use Git for version control and collaborative development
- Stay current with emerging web technologies and trends
- Support continuous integration and automated testing workflows
- Handle database design and optimization for Drupal sites
- Provide input on project timelines and technical feasibility
- Assist in migrating legacy sites to newer Drupal versions
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Participate in agile development cycles and team meetings
