A performance marketing disruptor is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to develop and expand the data and machine learning platform that drives product decisions and production models.
As a Data Engineer, you'll collaborate directly with the Data Science Manager, Data Science, and Product teams. The role demands proven experience constructing highly scalable ETL pipelines using Databricks and AWS, with a track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale data infrastructure in production environments.
This position is preferably located in Israel, but exceptional candidates from the U.S. will be considered.

What you will do:
- Architecture & storage: Design and implement data storage strategy with scalability, reliability, security, and cost optimization
- Pipelines & ETL: Build and maintain robust data pipelines, including orchestration, testing, documentation, and SLAs
- Reliability & cost control: Optimize compute/storage and reduce pipeline fragility
- Engineering excellence: Refactor research code, enforce repository structure, testing, logging, and reproducibility
- Cross-functional collaboration: Transform prototypes into production systems, provide mentorship and technical guidance
- Roadmap & standards: Drive technical vision for data platform capabilities and establish architectural team standards
What you need:
- Experience: 5+ years in data engineering, with large-scale system infrastructure ownership
- Software engineering strength: Strong coding, debugging, performance analysis, testing, and CI/CD discipline
- Cloud & containers: Production experience on AWS, Docker + Kubernetes
- IaC: Terraform or CloudFormation for managed, reviewable environments
- Data engineering: Expert SQL, data modeling, schema design, modern orchestration and ETL tools
- Warehouses & Data Lakes: Databricks, Spark, Redshift, and Data lake formats
- Monitoring/observability: Data monitoring and pipeline alerting
- Collaboration: Excellent communication in fast-paced environments
- PySpark/Glue/Dask/Kafka: Large-scale batch/stream processing experience
- Analytics platforms: Third-party data integration expertise
- Medallion architecture data product development
