CVS Health is looking for a Data Engineer to join Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company. You will design, build, and manage large-scale data structures and efficient ETL workflows to support critical business applications.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and manage large-scale data structures, pipelines, and efficient Extract/Load/Transform (ETL) workflows.
- Develop data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, and standardize data to generate insights and address reporting needs.
- Write ETL processes, design database systems, and develop tools for real-time and offline analytic processing.
- Collaborate with the Data Science team to transform data and integrate algorithms and models into automated processes.
- Leverage knowledge of Hadoop architecture, HDFS commands, and query optimization to build data pipelines.
- Utilize programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages to build robust data pipelines and dynamic systems.
- Build data marts and data models to support Data Science and other internal customers.
- Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure adherence to data quality and accessibility standards.
- Analyze current IT environments to identify critical capabilities and recommend solutions.
- Experiment with available tools and advise on new tools to provide optimal solutions for specific models and use cases.
What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field.
- Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- Two (2) years of experience in R, Python, or SQL.
- Two (2) years of experience providing domain support for a healthcare or retail pharmacy organization.
- Two (2) years of experience analyzing large data sets from multiple data sources.
- Two (2) years of data analysis experience for the health care industry, products, or systems.
- Two (2) years of analytics experience within the retail and/or healthcare industries.
- Two (2) years of experience in machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.
- Two (2) years of experience with SAS or SQL programming languages.
- Two (2) years of experience with visualization tools, including PowerBI or Tableau.
- Two (2) years of experience designing data models and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases.
