Role Overview: We seek a proactive data professional to support ongoing data pipeline and modeling initiatives within our data warehouse. You'll collaborate intimately with the analytics team to maintain and enhance existing workflows, data quality, dbt models, KPI definitions, and documentation practices. This is a temporary 9-month contract with potential extension. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and optimize comprehensive ELT pipelines ensuring reliable, structured data warehouse integration - Develop, validate, and sustain scalable data models adhering to contemporary modeling standards - Facilitate data validation, testing, documentation, and governance across environments - Contribute to metadata and lineage tracking, establishing KPI modeling and data quality standards Requirements: - Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python (PySpark preferred) - Substantial experience with dbt Core and GitHub-based workflow methodologies - Comprehensive understanding of Azure data ecosystem and Delta Lake architecture - Expertise in ELT/ETL tools (Airbyte, ADF, or equivalent) - Detail-oriented, collaborative professional comfortable with remote work environments Preferred Qualifications: - Experience developing/maintaining Tableau data sources and dashboards - Comprehensive knowledge of data governance, documentation, and cataloging practices - Exposure to master data management tools #LI-Sherpany Our organization is dedicated to cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce that values and respects individual differences.
