KaNa Connect GmbH is looking for a Data Analyst to design and implement complete data infrastructures and analytics solutions that support data-driven decision-making. This role focuses on delivering real value, particularly for clients in Corporate Venture Capital and Investment.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with clients from Corporate Venture Capital and Investment Firms to design and implement data architectures for portfolio monitoring and investment decisions.
- Establish end-to-end data flows, from ingestion and transformation to analytics and visualization.
- Develop data models and support the maintenance and implementation of data pipelines and data warehouses.
- Build and optimize interactive dashboards and reports (primarily in Power BI) to provide actionable insights into investment portfolios.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define business metrics and KPIs, ensuring analytics aligns with strategic goals.
- Continuously improve data quality, documentation, and governance across projects.
- Participate in the full project lifecycle from architecture and proof of concept to implementation and continuous optimization.
- Support and mentor junior team members when needed and contribute to knowledge sharing.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query, report creation) or comparable BI tools.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and ETL/ELT processes.
- Analytical mindset with a structured and solution-oriented approach.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Completed IT-related education or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent English skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure, Fabric, or similar modern data platforms.
- Familiarity with investment or financial data (e.g., portfolio analytics, performance metrics).
- German language skills.
