Responsibilities

  • Assists in project financial reporting, trending, and invoice/billing review as needed
  • Manages assigned cost-related tasks
  • Communicates with management and field teams for cost monitoring, analysis, and reporting
  • Prepares quarterly financial reports and collaborates with the Project Management team on reporting strategies
  • Provides daily support to the project team, monitoring project budgets, schedules, and actuals
  • Collaborates with other project team members, customers, and stakeholders
  • Prepares cost data for proposals or contract negotiations
  • Performs or coordinates quantity development and verification for specific disciplines
  • Develops quantity bases for assumptions
  • Plans, coordinates, and directs the preparation of specific budgets
  • Assists in establishing budgeting standards
  • Implements cost recording, reporting, and analyzing standards, programs, and reports
  • Monitors and controls performance
  • Develops project-specific codes of accounts and recommends modifications
  • Identifies data sources and techniques for data acquisition and collects required data
  • Creates and implements measurement systems, analyzes performance metrics, and identifies improvements
  • Supports the PC Supervisor as needed
  • Provides independent financial, cost reporting, and trending analysis, and recommends corrective actions
  • Analyzes, develops, and presents impact integration measures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business management, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of project controls experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerBI
  • Experience in cost engineering functions, including cost estimating, cost control, cost analysis, and financial reporting
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience in other areas of project controls, such as planning, scheduling, and estimating
  • Intermediate knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup work processes

Join us in this full time permanent role Duties & Responsibilities include: * Prepare and develop Civil 3D original ground surfaces using survey point data. * With the help of a civil engineer, develop rough grade and final grade surfaces including roads, ditches, ponds, undergrounds etc. * Generate cut and fill MTO using Civil 3D. * Extract 2D drawings from Civil 3D model for rough and final grading, ditches, undergrounds, ponds, etc. * Work closely with civil engineer in developing all aspects of civil grading design. * Interface with structural engineers and designers to ensure continuity of civil design with building, equipment and structure foundations. * Coordinate with designers in other disciplines to progress 3D model and 2D drawings. * Maintain drawing files and folders in accordance with company QA/QC procedures. * Ensure compliance with approved design standards. * Participate in and foster a work environment that is based upon openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction.
