Responsibilities
- Assists in project financial reporting, trending, and invoice/billing review as needed
- Manages assigned cost-related tasks
- Communicates with management and field teams for cost monitoring, analysis, and reporting
- Prepares quarterly financial reports and collaborates with the Project Management team on reporting strategies
- Provides daily support to the project team, monitoring project budgets, schedules, and actuals
- Collaborates with other project team members, customers, and stakeholders
- Prepares cost data for proposals or contract negotiations
- Performs or coordinates quantity development and verification for specific disciplines
- Develops quantity bases for assumptions
- Plans, coordinates, and directs the preparation of specific budgets
- Assists in establishing budgeting standards
- Implements cost recording, reporting, and analyzing standards, programs, and reports
- Monitors and controls performance
- Develops project-specific codes of accounts and recommends modifications
- Identifies data sources and techniques for data acquisition and collects required data
- Creates and implements measurement systems, analyzes performance metrics, and identifies improvements
- Supports the PC Supervisor as needed
- Provides independent financial, cost reporting, and trending analysis, and recommends corrective actions
- Analyzes, develops, and presents impact integration measures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business management, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of project controls experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerBI
- Experience in cost engineering functions, including cost estimating, cost control, cost analysis, and financial reporting
- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Experience in other areas of project controls, such as planning, scheduling, and estimating
- Intermediate knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup work processes
