About the Role
This position involves delivering architectural guidance for complex software systems, supporting development teams, and ensuring technical designs meet scalability, security, and performance standards within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and document system architectures for enterprise-grade applications
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define technical requirements
- Evaluate and recommend technologies and frameworks for project needs
- Lead technical discussions and provide decision-making support during development
- Ensure solutions comply with security and data privacy standards
- Support integration of third-party services and APIs
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide feedback on design proposals
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving high-level technical issues
- Promote best practices in code quality, scalability, and maintainability
- Contribute to the development of reusable technical patterns and standards
- Translate business requirements into technical implementation plans
- Work closely with DevOps to ensure deployment readiness
- Monitor emerging technologies and assess applicability to current projects
- Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions with technical teams
- Ensure alignment between architecture and long-term product strategy
- Participate in sprint planning and technical backlog refinement
- Document technical decisions and system dependencies
- Advocate for performance optimization across platforms
- Support testing strategies for complex system integrations
- Provide input on vendor and tooling evaluations
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in computer science or a related field
- Experience in the SaaS or customer engagement technology space
- Background in high-volume messaging or email delivery systems
- Familiarity with Braze platform or similar customer engagement tools
- Certifications in cloud architecture from AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Prior work with real-time analytics platforms
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations such as GDPR or CCPA
- Experience mentoring junior engineers or technical teams
- Public speaking or conference presentation experience
- Open-source contributions in relevant technical domains
