Passion.io is hiring a Community Moderator and Engagement Specialist to create connection and energize both public and private creator communities. You'll be responsible for moderating discussions, sparking conversation, and designing experiences that help creators grow.
What You'll Do
- Moderate discussions, threads, and live chats to keep conversations flowing.
- Create a positive, motivating environment where every member feels seen.
- Provide quick answers to product questions, escalating complex issues.
- Share resources, tips, and opportunities to support members.
- Partner with Marketing and Product to run campaigns, launches, and events.
- Design and host challenges, competitions, and gamified experiences.
- Celebrate member wins to energize the whole community.
- Track engagement and sentiment, acting on the insights.
- Build relationships with influencers, advocates, and superfans.
- Organize virtual events and meetups people want to attend.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years managing large online communities (5,000+ members).
- Project management skills.
- Hands-on experience with community platforms and social tools.
- Experience creating and enforcing community guidelines.
- Fluent in engagement metrics and community health reporting.
- Comfortable handling product support questions within the community.
- Excellent communication skills: positive, clear, and proactive.
- Flexibility for some overlap with North American and EU time zones.
Nice to Have
- Experience building measurable engagement strategies.
- Knowledge of how to drive revenue through community channels.
- Background in marketing, business, or coaching spaces.
- Gamification and challenge design experience.
- Experience hosting or running online events and meetups.
- Track record of growing strong partnerships with advocates or influencers.
