About the Role
This role is responsible for building and managing cloud-based data platforms, optimizing data workflows, and supporting analytics through robust engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data pipelines for cloud environments
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using modern data tools
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across systems
- Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to fulfill data needs
- Monitor and optimize data system performance and reliability
- Support data governance and compliance standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly
- Document data architectures and technical processes
- Work with infrastructure teams on cloud resource management
- Participate in agile development cycles and team planning
- Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources
- Implement security best practices for data storage and access
- Automate routine data operations and monitoring tasks
- Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and tools
- Ensure scalability and resilience of data solutions
- Assist in testing and validating data models and schemas
- Support disaster recovery and backup procedures
- Contribute to data quality assurance initiatives
- Engage in code reviews and technical design discussions
- Maintain awareness of industry trends in cloud data engineering
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in a technical or quantitative discipline
- Certification in cloud data engineering or architecture
