ALTEN MÉXICO is looking for a Cloud Architect/Engineer to design and implement cloud-based solutions that enhance clients' operational efficiencies and drive digital transformation. In this role, you will conduct cloud assessments and develop migration strategies for existing applications.
What You'll Do
- Support cloud architectures that meet client needs while ensuring security, scalability, and performance.
- Conduct cloud assessments and develop strategies for migrating existing applications to cloud environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technology requirements and propose cloud solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Develop and document best practices for cloud usage, operation, and data management.
- Monitor cloud performance and optimize resource utilization, ensuring cost-effectiveness and reliability.
- Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to provide innovative solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their respective services.
- Experience with cloud migration strategies and tools.
- Understanding of networking, security, and data management in the cloud context.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills with ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
