The Clinical Database Testing Analyst I (Temporary) plays a key role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of clinical data systems. Working within Global Clinical Data Integration (GCDI), this position supports validation efforts across data platforms, focusing on accurate data transformation, integration, and long-term consistency for clinical trials in Latin America.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and document system validation tasks for both standardized and study-specific test scenarios, ensuring thorough recording of test outcomes and contributing to summary reporting
- Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles, ensuring trial configurations meet functional and compliance requirements
- Design and implement test cases tailored to individual clinical trial needs
- Build and maintain checks that monitor data integrity across pipelines, integrations, and automated workflows
- Ensure all validation records are properly archived in official repositories with full traceability for audits
- Prepare, review, and update UAT release documentation and associated change controls related to trial setup
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree or be actively pursuing one, preferably in mathematics, science, healthcare, computer science, or a related field. Proficiency in English (C1 level) is required. Experience with clinical data management platforms and test management tools such as Jira Xray is expected. A foundational understanding of GxP, computer system validation (CSV), and regulatory standards is essential. Familiarity with the system development lifecycle and adherence to documentation and testing best practices is also required.
