Tenstorrent is hiring a Chiplet Security Research Intern

About the Role

Work alongside engineers developing secure AI hardware using chiplet-based architectures. You'll perform in-depth security assessments of system designs, contribute to the development of secure processor components, and explore innovative techniques for protecting integrated semiconductor systems.

What You'll Do

  • Examine AI computing platforms for potential security vulnerabilities using structured threat modeling approaches
  • Support the design and verification of security-focused processor elements within modular chiplet systems
  • Investigate emerging methods for securing silicon-level implementations, including hardware-rooted protections

Qualifications

Applicants should be currently enrolled in a graduate program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline. A solid foundation in computer security principles, hardware verification, or system testing is required. Familiarity with processor architecture, digital circuit design, or low-level software development is essential. Proficiency in RTL or C/C++ is necessary for effective implementation and analysis.

Technical Environment

Work with RTL and C/C++ in the context of computer architecture, digital logic, and chiplet-based silicon design. Gain hands-on experience in security processor development and hardware security research.

Work Environment

This is an onsite position located in Santa Clara, CA. The role offers direct engagement with advanced security engineering practices, exposure to AI-assisted design workflows, and opportunities to grow within a technically rigorous team.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly pay ranges from $50 to $70, inclusive of base and variable components. The position provides access to advanced security engineering projects and learning in chiplet-based security design.
