This role involves directing the UI Engineering Team responsible for implementing and maintaining game interface features. Daily Responsibilities: - Supervising direct reports, supporting professional development, conducting performance management, facilitating hiring and promotional processes - Collaborating closely with design, artistic, and development teams to ensure alignment and expectation fulfillment - Guiding team in UI feature enhancement and development - Maintaining and optimizing existing systems - Creating innovative user interface framework features - Developing tools for UI artists and designers - Tracking and resolving game interface and framework bugs - Managing tasks effectively with high-quality code production Qualifications: - Minimum 7 years professional UI programming experience in gaming industry - 3+ years management experience - Comprehensive understanding of successful video game user interface elements and player experience - Capability to design universally accessible interfaces - Advanced C++ programming proficiency and Unreal Engine knowledge - Strong algorithm and architectural coding skills - Exceptional debugging and optimization capabilities - Meticulous attention to detail - Effective independent and collaborative work abilities - Clear, respectful communication across multicultural environments Preferred Skills: - Diegetic/In-world UI experience - Common Unreal UI expertise - Multiplayer UI background - Unreal UI MVVM familiarity Additional Information: Application closes 05/31/2026 Hybrid/Remote position available.
