Role OverviewThe Business Planning Manager II serves as a strategic advisor to the Networking Sales Organization, working closely with leadership and field teams to align business performance with long-term objectives. By translating complex data into actionable insights, this role supports decision-making across forecasting, quota planning, and sales strategy implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with sales leadership and field teams to guide business planning and performance evaluation
- Lead in-depth analyses to uncover trends, assess performance, and recommend strategic actions
- Support sales compensation design, quota allocation, and deployment strategies in line with business goals
- Facilitate governance processes including demand planning, pipeline oversight, and sales forecasting
- Integrate market intelligence—both internal and external—to inform planning and strategic positioning
- Strengthen operational workflows by identifying best practices and driving continuous improvement
- Act as a cross-functional liaison, connecting teams to align on objectives and execution
- Build trusted relationships across departments and regions to enhance collaboration and knowledge exchange
Qualifications
Candidates should bring over six years of experience in business, finance, or operations analysis—ideally within a global organization. Strong analytical capabilities, fluency in English, and proven success in cross-functional environments are essential. Expertise in Excel, financial modeling, statistical analysis, and data tools is required, along with advanced PowerPoint skills and an interest in AI applications.
Proficiency in Power BI, automation, Salesforce.com, or Anaplan is preferred. Additional language skills relevant to Europe, the Middle East, or Africa are an asset. The ideal candidate demonstrates leadership, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Work Environment
