Responsibilities
- Gather, process, and examine data from multiple sources to support analysis.
- Help build and maintain reporting dashboards using business intelligence platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Work with teams across departments to identify data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Verify data integrity and ensure reporting accuracy through validation processes.
- Explore opportunities to enhance current BI workflows and technology usage.
- Record procedures and develop instructional materials for BI tools and systems.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a degree program in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and ability to solve complex problems.
- Familiarity with SQL and experience using data visualization software like Power BI or Tableau.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel; prior exposure to data modeling is beneficial.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities with a focus on precision.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in group settings.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience applying Python or R in data analysis tasks.
- Knowledge of database fundamentals and ETL (extract, transform, load) processes.
- Interest in business strategy and using data to inform decision-making.
