Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, testing, and deployment of building management systems, ensuring alignment with client objectives, regulations, and sustainability targets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across all levels, including clients, architects, engineering teams, contractors, and executives, to build strong partnerships and provide technical guidance.
- Oversee full project lifecycles: perform feasibility analyses, draft specifications and point lists, manage tenders, evaluate costs and bids, and deliver progress updates.
- Perform system evaluations, audits, and factory/site acceptance tests, delivering clear findings, actionable recommendations, and client training to enhance system performance.
- Support business growth, guide and develop the BMS team, facilitate knowledge transfer, and advance innovation in intelligent building solutions.
- Champion safety, health, and environmental standards by resolving technical issues, ensuring compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture.
- Assist in integrating mechanical, electrical, and control systems using expertise in open protocols and advanced BMS platforms such as Trend, Tridium, and Niagara.
- Travel periodically across the country to project locations and offices, balancing on-site work with flexible remote and office-based arrangements.
