What You'll Do
- Partner with engineering and product teams to define software specifications for HVAC control components
- Design and maintain embedded software applications for real-time monitoring and control
- Develop and refine algorithms for data collection, processing, and system optimization
- Perform rigorous testing and debugging to ensure software reliability and compliance
- Integrate software with hardware platforms and external systems for seamless operation
- Support internal teams and end users throughout development, deployment, and maintenance cycles
- Keep current with evolving technologies and industry trends to inform innovation
- Document designs, implementations, and test protocols to support team knowledge and continuity
- Engage in code reviews and agile planning to uphold development standards
What We're Looking For
A candidate with a Bachelor of Science in HVACR Engineering and a background in software development, particularly in embedded or real-time environments. You should understand electrical controls and building automation systems, with strong analytical skills and a meticulous approach to problem-solving.
Excellent communication abilities are essential—you must be able to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You're equally effective working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
