About the Role
Design and implement robust backend services using Go to power secure, high-performance cryptocurrency wallet infrastructure and support seamless interactions with blockchain networks.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain core backend services in Go
- Ensure system reliability and performance under high load
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce best practices
- Integrate with blockchain nodes and decentralized protocols
- Optimize database queries and storage solutions
- Design APIs for internal and external product teams
- Monitor system health and respond to incidents
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
- Troubleshoot production issues across multiple environments
- Support wallet functionality for multiple blockchain networks
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms
- Scale infrastructure to meet growing user demand
- Work closely with frontend and mobile teams
- Contribute to disaster recovery and backup strategies
- Maintain uptime and reduce latency for critical services
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies when appropriate
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards
- Document system architecture and operational procedures
- Assist in onboarding new engineering team members
Nice to Have
- Experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers
- Exposure to high-scale financial or crypto platforms
- Contributions to open-source blockchain projects
- Knowledge of Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) internals
- Experience with cloud providers like AWS or GCP
- Background in cybersecurity or cryptography
- Familiarity with GraphQL
- Experience with testing frameworks in Go
- Understanding of consensus algorithms
- Prior work with wallet or custody systems
