Backend Developer Position About the Role: We are recruiting a Backend Developer responsible for designing and implementing innovative features while maintaining and enhancing existing implementations across our digital commerce platforms. The professional will collaborate with diverse internal and external teams to improve overall infrastructure efficiency and optimization. Specific Responsibilities: - Manage compliance with platform requirements and implement necessary updates - Collaborate with development agencies, third parties, and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and support comprehensive eCommerce capabilities in Salesforce Commerce Cloud - Dedicate primary time to hands-on development and architectural decision-making - Establish, maintain, and troubleshoot website integration feeds, including products, inventory, pricing, order management systems, and review platforms - Monitor and report website performance metrics, recommending and implementing improvements - Stay current with latest Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform development innovations - Manage site domains and code repositories - Identify and effectively mitigate project risks - Proactively discover opportunities to optimize processes and interfaces - Develop and mentor junior engineering professionals Qualifications: - Minimum 3 years experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience - Proven software development experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud - Expertise in Site Genesis and/or SFRA frameworks - Experience integrating third-party cartridges and developing custom solutions - Strong knowledge of caching, performance monitoring, and optimization strategies - Comprehensive understanding of Business Manager capabilities - Proficient in ISMLs, JavaScript controllers, pipelines, OCAPI configurations - Advanced front-end development skills - Retail/E-Commerce industry experience preferred Compensation, Benefits, & Additional Details: Our organization aims to provide competitive compensation supporting professional growth potential.
