Canada Life was looking for an Associate Advisor

Canada Life is looking for an Associate Advisor to join a full-service advisory firm in Sherwood Park, Alberta. You will be part of our mission to improve the financial, physical, and mental well-being of Canadians. In this role, you will help provide comprehensive wealth planning strategies and grow the business, supported by an experienced administrative team.

What You'll Do

  • Provide an exceptional client experience and respond to all client inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Learn and practice our award-winning financial planning process.
  • Use our financial planning software to build and update financial plans.
  • Prepare required paperwork and process accurately to ensure compliance.
  • Monitor investment portfolios on an ongoing basis for suitability.
  • Research products approved for sale through IPC Securities Corporation and IPC Investment Corporation.
  • Collaborate with the Pinnacle team to deliver on team goals, provide coverage and train new team members.
  • Build long-term client relationships.
  • Leverage technology to enhance client experiences.

What We're Looking For

  • Post-secondary education in Business or a relevant field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working within the financial services industry.
  • Completion of CSC/IFIC required.
  • Securities (IIROC) license required.

Nice to Have

  • Professional accreditation (CFP, CIM, or equivalent) is considered an asset.
