About the Role
The individual will work closely with development and QA teams to build robust test solutions, identify defects early, and improve overall product reliability through continuous integration and test automation practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test scripts for web and API applications
- Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to define test strategies
- Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks
- Identify, report, and track software defects using issue management tools
- Execute test plans across different environments and configurations
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback
- Ensure test coverage aligns with functional and non-functional requirements
- Participate in code reviews for test and production code
- Contribute to improving testing processes and best practices
- Support release validation and regression testing cycles
- Monitor system behavior to detect performance or stability issues
- Document test cases and testing procedures
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand feature specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve test environment issues
- Stay current with emerging testing tools and methodologies
- Assist in defining quality metrics and reporting dashboards
- Validate data integrity and accuracy in application workflows
- Ensure compliance with security and privacy testing standards
