This role leads ERP finance activities for a major business unit, driving system integrity, financial reporting accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration to support strategic decision-making and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead the configuration and maintenance of ERP financial modules
- Ensure financial data integrity across enterprise systems
- Collaborate with IT and finance teams on system enhancements
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Develop financial reporting structures within the ERP platform
- Identify and resolve system-related financial discrepancies
- Drive compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
- Manage user access and security protocols for financial systems
- Lead process improvements for financial operations
- Provide training and guidance to finance team members on ERP usage
- Monitor system performance and recommend optimizations
- Coordinate with global teams on financial data standards
- Support integration of new business units into existing ERP frameworks
- Maintain documentation for financial processes and system configurations
- Assist in the implementation of new financial technologies
- Ensure alignment with corporate accounting policies
- Troubleshoot financial reporting issues in the ERP system
- Participate in system upgrade projects
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment on financial data flows
- Serve as primary point of contact for ERP finance matters
- Analyze financial system requirements for new initiatives
- Support internal and external audits with system-generated data
- Implement best practices for financial data governance
- Work with vendors on system support and issue resolution
