AECOM is hiring an AECOM Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Delivering structural engineering services on building projects, performing analyses and calculations as appropriate, and preparing designs
  • Preparing technical specifications
  • Supervising work by Graduate Engineers, ensuring that it is carried out to the appropriate technical standard
  • Directing Technicians to ensure that drawing work is completed, clearly communicating designed solutions
  • Report writing and production of technical reports and documents

Requirements

  • BSc/MSc in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent with post graduate design experience with an Engineering consultancy.
  • Building structure design experience using all the main materials on a variety of structural projects
  • Highly motivated Engineer with previous consultancy experience
  • Experience in Eurocodes essential
  • Knowledgeable in finite element and frame analysis software for steel and RC frames, flat slabs, etc. (Tekla, SCIA, etc)
