About the Role
This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, conducting detailed account analysis, and supporting month-end close processes while ensuring adherence to accounting policies and controls.
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and trends
- Support the preparation of internal and external financial reports
- Assist in audit requests and documentation
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial initiatives
- Maintain documentation for accounting processes and controls
- Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting accuracy
- Track and report on key financial metrics
- Assist in the implementation of accounting system enhancements
- Prepare journal entries and adjustments
- Monitor account balances for unusual activity
- Participate in the month-end and year-end closing activities
- Coordinate with external and internal auditors
- Resolve accounting issues in a timely manner
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure data integrity across financial systems
- Develop and maintain financial models
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis as needed
- Follow established internal control procedures
- Stay current with changes in accounting regulations
- Contribute to process improvement projects
- Assist in training team members on accounting practices
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information
- Work with global teams across different time zones
