Optiv is hiring an Account Manager - Cybersecurity - North Florida

About the Role

This field-based role focuses on advancing cybersecurity sales across strategic accounts in North Florida. You will lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, while coordinating internal teams to design and implement long-term account strategies aligned with client objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of multi-year strategic plans for top-tier clients, grounded in their business and security priorities
  • Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with senior client stakeholders through consistent, value-driven engagement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Optiv teams to deliver comprehensive cybersecurity services and technology solutions
  • Establish and maintain a robust sales pipeline—targeting at least four times annual revenue goals—with accurate forecasting and disciplined sales execution
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews to assess progress, refine expectations, and ensure alignment with client goals
  • Represent Optiv’s capabilities clearly and effectively, articulating value in security services and technology integrations
  • Partner with technology vendors to identify joint opportunities and strengthen client offerings
  • Coordinate communication between clients, partners, and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and satisfaction

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of sales experience in technology, preferably within cybersecurity or enterprise IT services
  • Proven success exceeding sales targets and managing complex, solution-based sales cycles
  • Experience leading territory planning, account expansion, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong executive communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDICC and Command of the Message
  • Ability to manage forecasts with accuracy and integrity across multiple quarters
