About the Role

Worldpay is hiring a Sales Executive - Mid Market to drive growth within a defined territory. This remote role involves achieving sales targets, generating new business, and building professional relationships with enterprise clients in the payments sector.

What You'll Do

  • Achieve monthly sales targets aligned to overall company objectives.
  • Develop a monthly strategy and business plan to attract new business and extend market share.
  • Generate new business and proactively manage your pipeline of predominantly self-generated leads using Sales Force.
  • Build professional relationships across your local business network, joining forums and attending events.
  • Build and maintain a network of introducers, ensuring Worldpay is the first choice for referrals.
  • Apply the WORLDPAY sales methodology to identify customer needs, propose solutions, and negotiate terms.
  • Sell several different Worldpay products (including face-to-face Standalone and integrated POS systems and Ecomm solutions) to new SME customers with annual card turnover of £250k to 3 million.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and drive revenue growth in line with pricing policy.

What We're Looking For

  • A full driving license.
  • Proven experience in targeted B2B field sales (Merchant Sales Experience Essential).
  • Comfortable selling up to C-level executives.
  • Excellent consultative approach, solution selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
  • A genuine self-starter who requires minimal oversight but contributes to team performance.
  • Ambitious, career-oriented, with a professional outlook and high integrity.
  • Previous experience with a consultative selling methodology and a track record of winning business in the mid-market segment.
  • Understanding of the payments market.
