About the Role
The role involves designing and implementing interactive XR applications accessible through web browsers, leveraging WebGL, WebXR, and related technologies to deliver engaging user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop web-based extended reality experiences using WebGL and WebXR standards
- Optimize performance and compatibility across devices and browsers
- Collaborate with designers to translate visual concepts into functional interfaces
- Write clean, maintainable code following best practices
- Troubleshoot and debug cross-platform issues
- Implement responsive designs for diverse screen sizes and input methods
- Integrate 3D assets and animations into web environments
- Stay current with evolving web and XR technologies
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Contribute to architectural decisions for scalable web applications
- Ensure accessibility standards are met in interactive experiences
- Document technical implementations and workflows
- Support deployment and monitoring of production applications
- Collaborate with QA to identify and resolve issues
- Assist in defining project timelines and technical scope
Nice to Have
- Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine in web contexts
- Knowledge of GLSL or shader programming
- Familiarity with spatial audio integration
