Responsibilities
- Owning the ElevenLabs blog – setting the editorial standard, writing new content, and editing draft posts from other teams.
- Interviewing domain experts, mining data sets, and monitoring internal updates to unearth the best ideas and stories.
- Making complex business and technical updates legible through clear writing and compelling visualizations.
- Defining the house style and ensuring ElevenLabs maintains a consistent voice.
- Writing keynotes and remarks for senior leadership that stick in the minds of audiences.
- Managing a network of freelance writers and editors to scale output as needed.
Requirements
- A background in journalism, editorial, or long-form writing, ideally covering AI, tech, or audio.
- Exceptional writing across different formats.
- Strong editing skills and the ability to reshape others' work while preserving their intent.
- Strong instincts for distribution and a good understanding of how to shape writing to ensure it reaches and resonates with target audiences.
- A track record of owning and improving editorial output, not just contributing to it.
- Genuine curiosity about AI and an interest in helping the world understand what we’re building.
