About the Role
The role involves managing end-to-end testing for Workday deployments, overseeing test planning, execution, and defect tracking while working closely with technical and functional consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive testing cycles for Workday HCM and Financials implementations
- Develop detailed test strategies and test plans aligned with project scope
- Coordinate test activities across multiple project phases and workstreams
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand system changes
- Design and document test cases based on business requirements
- Execute test scripts and validate system behavior under various scenarios
- Identify, log, and track defects through resolution
- Manage test data setup and ensure data integrity during testing
- Facilitate user acceptance testing with business stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with change management and testing governance standards
- Monitor testing progress and report status to project leads
- Support integration testing between Workday and third-party systems
- Validate security roles and access controls during testing
- Assist in performance and regression testing efforts
- Provide feedback to configuration teams on design impacts
- Ensure testing aligns with project timelines and milestones
- Train team members on testing procedures and tools
- Maintain version control of test assets
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical defects
- Support post-implementation validation and go-live support
