Responsibilities
- Design and configure Workday Financial Management integrations using Core Connectors and EIBs
- Collaborate with clients to understand financial reporting and transactional needs
- Develop integration specifications based on business process analysis
- Lead testing cycles including unit, system, and user acceptance testing
- Troubleshoot data flow issues between Workday and external financial systems
- Document integration workflows and data mappings comprehensively
- Support data conversion activities during system implementation
- Provide technical guidance to project teams on integration best practices
- Configure security settings for financial data access within integrations
- Assist in the development of integration standards and templates
- Participate in client workshops to gather integration requirements
- Translate business needs into technical integration designs
- Validate integration performance under high-volume transaction scenarios
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for external system connectivity
- Ensure compliance with audit and financial control standards
- Mentor junior consultants on Workday integration tools and methods
- Stay current with Workday Financial Management updates affecting integrations
- Support post-go-live stabilization and issue resolution
- Develop training materials for client teams managing integrations
- Participate in integration architecture reviews
- Use Workday Studio when advanced integration logic is required
- Maintain data integrity across financial modules and external systems
- Assist in estimating integration effort during pre-sales phases
- Deliver integration components within project timelines
