Responsibilities
- Own and define the long-term vision for Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning system architecture.
- Create and manage a forward-looking roadmap for finance technology that supports organizational strategy and operations.
- Design system solutions to enable cost allocation, project and grant accounting, payroll, financial planning, and reporting.
- Ensure systems are scalable, automated, and high-performing through adherence to technical best practices.
- Set and uphold architectural standards and design principles across all finance platforms.
- Act as lead administrator for Adaptive Planning, managing model accuracy, user permissions, versioning, account structures, and documentation.
- Lead end-to-end system upgrades and release cycles from concept to deployment.
- Implement governance processes for system changes, testing protocols, and version control.
- Oversee external consultants and vendors, translating business requirements into technical deliverables while ensuring on-time, on-budget results.
- Maintain comprehensive records of system configurations, integrations, and modifications.
- Design and manage integrations between Workday, Adaptive Planning, and other enterprise systems such as HR, CRM, and procurement.
- Establish and enforce data governance, master data standards, and security frameworks in collaboration with security teams.
- Guarantee consistency and accuracy of financial and operational data across platforms.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to align data models with business intelligence and dashboard requirements.
- Serve as the primary technical advisor on finance systems for finance leadership and executive teams.
- Partner with finance, IT, development, and operations teams to improve end-to-end financial processes.
- Communicate system strategies, roadmaps, and key decisions to senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, governance, and ongoing system optimization.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $107,430 to $132,402, with new hires typically placed at the lower end based on experience and role alignment. In addition to base pay, the position includes a 10% annual bonus target and eligibility for merit-based salary increases tied to individual and organizational performance.
