Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of work-winning specialists, ensuring ownership of project execution and results.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain skilled professionals through structured onboarding and career progression planning, promoting a culture of growth and high performance.
  • Motivate team members to meet challenging objectives while fostering an environment of inclusivity, responsibility, and creative problem-solving.
  • Manage and refine a multi-year portfolio of strategically significant opportunities.
  • Track financial performance, return on investment, win rates, and other key indicators to identify opportunities for program enhancement.
  • Direct the prioritization of major, secondary, and tertiary bids, allocating resources efficiently and resolving obstacles proactively.
  • Enforce consistent use of CRM (Salesforce) to support leadership decisions and performance tracking.
  • Lead bid evaluations, coordinate planning sessions, and critically assess client value propositions on high-priority projects.
  • Use industry expertise and analytical insights to guide go/no-go bid decisions, maximizing success rates and protecting investment returns.
  • Ensure bid quality and compliance by implementing proven methodologies and standardized tools.
  • Identify and escalate significant risks promptly to enable timely leadership intervention and preserve competitive positioning.
  • Develop strong partnerships with senior executives to align pursuit strategies with organizational goals.
  • Challenge and guide senior stakeholders, account leads, and capture leads to adopt proven work-winning practices based on experience and data.
  • Produce clear, insightful reports that support strategic planning and business development decisions.
  • Lead initiatives that support business expansion and transformation in work-winning capabilities.
  • Implement standardized processes, tools, and training across capture and proposal teams to improve consistency in qualification, planning, and delivery.
  • Maintain high-quality proposal materials, playbooks, and reusable content, ensuring all major bids emphasize client outcomes and value propositions.
  • Promote ongoing innovation in bidding strategies, leading win/loss reviews and converting findings into measurable process improvements.
