About the Role
The developer will diagnose and resolve technical issues on client WordPress sites, perform updates, and assist with site maintenance while collaborating with support staff to deliver timely solutions.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and fix technical problems on WordPress websites
- Perform core updates, plugin updates, and theme updates
- Troubleshoot performance issues and site errors
- Respond to support tickets in a timely manner
- Collaborate with customer support to understand client needs
- Implement security patches and best practices
- Migrate websites between hosting environments
- Debug JavaScript, PHP, and CSS issues
- Assist with website backups and restoration
- Document solutions and technical processes
- Optimize site speed and loading performance
- Support domain and DNS configuration changes
- Handle email configuration for client domains
- Work with version control systems when applicable
- Follow established development workflows
- Test fixes across multiple browsers and devices
- Escalate complex issues when necessary
- Maintain confidentiality of client data
- Adhere to service level agreements
- Provide status updates on open issues

- Experience with WooCommerce sites
