Responsibilities
- Pulling and packing orders
- Loading/unloading trucks with an electric forklift and/or manual pallet jack
- Building boxes for shipping small orders
- Breaking down wooden crates/pallets for proper disposal
- Fulfilling picking tickets with proper hide measurements
- Updating physical inventory sheets with any footages removed for orders or samples
- General cleaning duties
- Assistance with showroom set up and breakdown, as needed
- Assistance with sales aids, as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to lift a maximum of 70 pounds alone
- Forklift certification required
- Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
Nice to Have
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Work Arrangement
On-site — Hickory, NC
Additional Information
- As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations.
- The most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.
- Drug, alcohol, and background checks for all new team members post-offer and prior to the start of employment.
- Verification of employment eligibility be documented for all new employees by the end of the third day of work.
- Base salary of $20-21/hr
