Role Overview
As Vice President of Operations Delivery and Transformation, you will shape the future of business capabilities within the Commercial Lines and E&S/Specialty insurance segment. This role is central to defining how technology and business strategy converge to deliver efficient, customer-centric solutions. You will lead architectural innovation, digital enablement, and end-to-end process optimization across key value streams such as quote-to-bind and claims servicing.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and govern business architecture standards, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and evolving market needs
- Design scalable, multi-year technology roadmaps that support digital growth and user-centered product delivery
- Translate executive strategy into actionable business capabilities using agile and LEAN methodologies
- Lead the development of digital applications that improve agent, customer, and internal user experiences
- Integrate emerging technologies—including AI, automation, and predictive analytics—into core operations
- Collaborate with Data, Technology, and Operations teams to ensure consistency between technical and business architectures
- Streamline end-to-end processes by identifying inefficiencies and implementing simplified, reusable solutions
- Advise senior leadership on transformation opportunities, architectural impacts, and capability gaps
- Scale business architecture practices across related units to promote shared services and interoperability
- Champion a digital-first culture grounded in modern UI/UX principles and data-driven decision making
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field, along with at least 10 years of experience in business architecture, enterprise transformation, or strategic planning within insurance or financial services. Deep familiarity with Commercial and E&S/Specialty insurance operations is essential. Proven success in designing large-scale business capabilities, combined with knowledge of frameworks like TOGAF or BIZBOK, is required. Experience in agile environments and strong stakeholder engagement skills are critical for success.
Preferred Background
An MBA or advanced degree is preferred. Expertise in digital experience design, third-party data integration, and program management further strengthens candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this role is $188,250 to $313,750. Additional performance-based sales incentives may be available. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage; life and disability insurance; paid time off starting at 18 days annually (pro-rated); nine paid holidays; dedicated personal leave days; 401(k) with company match; and a company-paid pension plan.
