Alpaca is hiring a VP of Marketing

Lead global marketing strategy for a high-growth fintech organization, driving brand development, demand generation, and international expansion. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this role is central to shaping how the company engages with developers, financial institutions, and enterprise decision-makers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Anchor marketing initiatives to measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes, using CRM and lifecycle data to forecast impact
  • Design and execute a unified global strategy across brand, content, digital, and partnerships aligned with multi-region growth goals
  • Build and lead a performance-driven marketing team focused on scalability and ROI
  • Develop multi-channel B2B and B2B2C campaigns that drive awareness, partner engagement, and end-user adoption
  • Shape messaging for technical and enterprise audiences, turning complex infrastructure into compelling narratives
  • Establish a dominant presence in AI-powered search through Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
  • Launch targeted growth initiatives in key verticals and geographies using lean, creative tactics
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Regulatory teams to align marketing with go-to-market strategy
  • Lead global event strategy, including conferences and regional activations, to generate enterprise leads
  • Oversee brand consistency across all touchpoints, from digital presence to physical experiences
  • Partner with Communications to convert media coverage into demand-driving assets
  • Ensure marketing efforts are synchronized across regions and integrated with sales execution

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of marketing leadership, with 5–8 years in senior executive roles
  • Proven success in B2B and B2B2C demand generation within global tech or fintech environments
  • Deep understanding of enterprise buyer behavior and API-driven product adoption
  • Experience building high-performing teams and operating in revenue-focused organizations
  • Strong grasp of account-based marketing, long sales cycles, and high-value deal dynamics
  • Expertise in GEO, content distribution, and data-driven campaign optimization
  • Ability to make strategic decisions in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Cultural fluency across North America, MENA, APAC, and LATAM markets
  • Experience in fintech, SaaS infrastructure, or financial services is highly valued
