About the Role
This role involves providing virtual medical care with an emphasis on clinical judgment, diagnostic reasoning, and ongoing patient guidance. Physicians maintain responsibility for patient care beyond isolated visits, supporting decision-making and next steps in a low-volume, non-protocol-driven environment.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Holding active, unrestricted medical licenses covering at least 40% of the U.S. population
- Multi-state licensure required, with priority on California, Texas, Florida, and New York; credentialing support available for additional states
- Proficient in managing general medical cases involving diagnostic uncertainty and complex clinical synthesis
- Demonstrated strong communication abilities and a collaborative, patient-focused care model
- Openness to using modern digital clinical tools and telehealth workflows; prior telehealth experience is beneficial but not mandatory
- Commitment to working a minimum of 12 hours per week
- Availability to complete at least one weekend shift each month
- Authorized to provide care for Medicare and Medicaid recipients
- Unblemished professional record with no history of disciplinary actions, license suspensions, or malpractice claims
