Join a forward-thinking media team as a full-time Video Editor, where your craft directly shapes how stories are told and received. You'll transform unedited footage into polished, emotionally engaging videos tailored for YouTube, social media, podcasts, and digital learning platforms. Reporting to the Creative Director, you’ll play a central role in defining the rhythm, tone, and visual identity of every piece.
What You’ll Do
- Edit both short- and long-form content with attention to pacing, narrative flow, and platform-specific standards
- Enhance visuals with color grading, smooth transitions, titles, and captions while refining audio clarity
- Incorporate motion graphics, music, and sound design that reflect the brand’s voice and intent
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and on-camera talent to align on creative vision and final output
- Contribute ideas during pre-production stages, including brainstorming, scripting, and storyboarding
- Organize and maintain media libraries, templates, and assets for efficient reuse and team access
- Export deliverables in multiple formats and resolutions suited to various digital channels
- Use performance data—like watch time and engagement—to refine and adapt editing approaches
- Ensure all projects meet creative benchmarks and are delivered on schedule
What We’re Looking For
- At least three years of hands-on experience editing digital video content
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, or similar professional tools
- A portfolio demonstrating range across formats—from quick-hitting reels to in-depth long-form videos
- Strong grasp of storytelling structure, visual rhythm, and emotional pacing
- Ability to work full-time in person in Kelowna, BC
- Excellent time management and file organization skills
- Comfort navigating fast-turnaround feedback and managing multiple deadlines
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience editing content for personal brands, coaches, or fast-growing digital ventures
- Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or color grading workflows
- Basic graphic design ability using Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator
- Personal interest in entrepreneurship, self-improvement, or the creator economy
