Responsibilities
- Design, build, and sustain VHDL-based firmware solutions for FPGA platforms used in aerospace and defence systems.
- Develop and refine firmware to satisfy strict performance, safety, and reliability criteria.
- Work closely with hardware and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of firmware within larger system architectures.
- Perform thorough testing, troubleshooting, and verification of firmware implementations.
- Support version control and maintain accurate technical documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
- Adhere to established industry standards and engineering best practices in all firmware development activities.
