U-Haul is looking for a Venture Builder & Partner to join our venture studio, Alvra Labs. This is a 50-100% partner-level role where you will help shape our strategy, scale our portfolio, and directly impact the success of our ventures. You’ll have a significant opportunity for ownership, equity, and commission, with an option for buy-in.
What You'll Do
- Shape and scale Alvra Labs’ overall strategy and venture portfolio.
- Lead fundraising efforts, strategic partnerships, and go-to-market initiatives for our ventures.
- Help our existing MVPs gain traction and secure follow-on funding.
- Support founders in validating, iterating, and scaling new products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the Swiss and DACH startup ecosystems.
What We're Looking For
- An intrinsic drive to build and scale ventures from the ground up.
- A hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action.
- Professional fluency in both German and English.
Nice to Have
- Proven experience as a founder, venture builder, or early-stage operator.
- A strong personal and professional network in German-speaking Switzerland.
- A background in venture capital, innovation, or business development.
- A genuine interest in building and managing a personal investment portfolio as an investor.
