Seeking a Principal UX Designer to drive design excellence across global product teams, focusing on user-centered solutions for complex enterprise systems in fintech and healthtech, while fostering collaboration with engineering and product partners in India and worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Create customer-focused user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models, ensuring high design quality with clear reasoning and sound decision-making.
- Champion design quality by leading inclusive critiques, improving handoffs to engineering, clarifying ownership, and advocating for users within business, technical, and regulatory constraints.
- Act as the main UX contact for India-based teams, translating global UX strategy into local execution, aligning roadmaps, setting success metrics, and representing design in cross-functional forums.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality design across products by partnering with UX leadership and DesignOps to refine scalable processes, tools, and standards.
- Apply AI and automation to improve design workflows and product experiences, using AI for research, ideation, prototyping, and documentation while promoting responsible, trustworthy applications.
- Support global collaboration by building cross-geography relationships, managing time zone challenges, integrating accessibility and diverse user needs early, and guiding teams toward practical, outcome-focused design decisions.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience designing complex enterprise-level products
- Strong ability to collaborate across functions
- Skilled in solving problems within constraints and articulating trade-offs
- Comfortable working with globally distributed teams
- Advanced expertise in modern design tools such as Figma
- Uses data, research, and analytics to inform design decisions
- Familiarity with design systems, responsive design, and front-end technologies
- Portfolio showcasing strong information architecture, problem-solving, and measurable user impact
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in UX, product design, or interaction design
