Design and implement interaction and visual design as part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.. Conduct user research, develop wireframes and prototypes, and shape intuitive digital experiences for websites and applications.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage both quantitative and qualitative user research initiatives.
- Help choose appropriate research methods to enhance data quality and relevance.
- Engage with stakeholders to define requirements and align expectations.
- Develop user scenarios and stories to support cross-team coordination.
- Lead sessions for user research and usability testing.
- Analyze findings from research to guide design and development decisions.
- Create UX materials tailored for user focus groups and data gathering.
- Use existing user research data to inform the creation of UX deliverables.
- Design the structure and classification of schemas within information systems.
- Build navigation systems that support effective wayfinding.
- Maintain consistent navigation across related websites and applications.
- Organize and categorize digital platforms to improve information discovery and management.
- Design information environments that support task efficiency and intuitive content access.
- Produce a variety of UX outputs such as task flows, information architecture diagrams, design explorations, wireframes, and high-fidelity interface mockups.
- Lead the presentation and justification of design work during reviews with peers and stakeholders.
- Execute interaction design within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Investigate current trends in interaction design.
- Work across functions to build a design language aligned with user needs and brand standards.
- Design and deliver visual layouts and specifications for the appearance of digital interfaces, including color, shape, and typography.
- Contribute to and expand design specifications and style guides as needed.
- Partner with development teams to ensure accurate understanding and implementation of design requirements.
- Apply critical thinking to solve complex user problems while balancing user needs, business goals, and technical limitations.
- Assess when prototyping is necessary based on functional complexity and specific requirements.
- Design and create visual or interactive components for use in clickable UI walkthroughs or code-based prototypes.
- Share prototypes through design reviews or one-on-one usability sessions.
Nice to Have
- Minimum of five years of professional experience in user experience design.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
