KRG Technologies is hiring an Unix/Linux System Administrator (L2/L3)

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-level troubleshooting and conduct root cause analysis for critical system issues
  • Prepare and manage patching processes for Solaris and Linux systems
  • Analyze and resolve severe server failures, core dumps, and performance bottlenecks
  • Develop and execute automated scripts for system tasks and job scheduling
  • Build and maintain standardized operating system images for Solaris and Linux platforms
  • Carry out operating system upgrades for Solaris environments
  • Diagnose and fix issues related to LDAP server operations
  • Investigate and resolve complex problems involving network configurations, cluster heartbeats, VCS, and Vault systems
  • Address non-standard operating system challenges beyond L2 capabilities, including Tru64, AIX, HPUX, and legacy Solaris 2.6
  • Handle escalated incidents from Level 2 support when resolution cannot be achieved at that tier
